If There Is Hell Below Podcast... Blues Face

Rob Morgan and Callum Eckersley present an ethically created podcast, made on a macintosh whittled from wood and microphones constructed by collected driftwood and fish hooks.
All the music has been ethically sourced from places where the artist is allowed space to roam free in a natural environment.
There’s some of that token outsider rock-pop-genius (perhaps?) from Sam Flax,  Gainsbourg meets the Mary Chain and Spacemen 3 Gallic garage fuzz from The LimiƱanas, experimental hip hop from Matthewdavid, garage punk from Dikes of Holland, something with that old school hip hop feel from ChrisCo,  some killer Christian hard rock (that’s right), the Greek psych-kraut-rock of Fantastikoi Hxoi and more.

If There Is Hell Below Podcast... Low Against the Thing

Rob and Callum are back to the familiar surroundings of the ITHB podcast, old mouths with new things to say along with favoured topics, like huffing and grot and stuff like that.
All the music is new apart from when it isn’t; some of it is high against the thing sometimes low, we’re eclectic.
Some of those things come from... the country loner tales of Link Wray’s older brother the Kristofferson/Hazlewood voiced Vernon Wray, the bedroom lo-fi pop of the incredibly named Elvis Depressedly, Matthew E. White’s reimagining of a Joe South classic (you know the one), Belgian punk from Thee Marvin Gays, bad man metal punk sweat from Lecherous Gaze, transatlantic hip hop from Alexis Davis and more...

If There Is Hell Below... Lord Huffington and Sir Huffamore

Lord Huffington (Callum) and Sir Huffamore (Rob) answer some big questions (nobody asked but they’re getting answered, anyway): what is the greatest ‘baby snatch’ in cinema history? What is a coke float? What is the quad? What were you doing in India in ’67?
On the music front; White Denim keep on being incredible, House Shoes provides another slice of dynamite Detroit hip hop, Bob Mould is Bob Mould and Wavves make pop. Plus: The Sufis with their Syd Barret anglo-psych-beat, Diggs Duke with his jazz/rnb cosmic smooth, unlikely Stones Throw signing Chrome Canyon provide some Tangerine Dream/Vangelis prog synth, friends of Neu!, Camera provide some timeless krautrock and more besides.

*please note: due to technical problems our introduction to Camera – Ausland is cut off but it’s that incredible krautrock instrumental before Matthew Dear

If There Is Hell Below Podcast... Mighty Morphin Foreskin?

Rob and Callum are back with their worldwide encompassing podcast, which this week is essentially just UK and USA.
The music: podcast favourites FIDLAR are back with some stoner rock, different takes on the psychedelic from Dirty Art Club, The Child of Lov and Jesse Boykins III & MeLo X, there’s some hip hop from Captain Murphy, funk from DJ Nu Mark and outsider indie from Ravenous, Charles Douglas and Tyrannosaurus Dead. The rest is a mystery... until you listen.
