If There Is Hell Below Podcast.. Not Botham, Beefy

Rob & Callum present the If There Is Hell Below podcast, the kind of podcast that says ‘ladies’ not ‘bitches’ – how refreshing.
There’s jazz-funk-vintage-electronics Hancock’esque sounds from Morocco’s Faraji Heritage Experiment, Italian prog-moog-haze from Sesnation’s Fix and Dilla/Shadow styled Hip Hop beats from Germany and then there’s indie jangles from the Domincan Republic via Grand Resort – WORLDWIDE!  Then there are the usual American flavours from Thee Oh Sees new psych-kraut cut, the surprising RnB gem of Tweet, P-Funk from K-Maxx, new Spoon/Wolf Parade collaboration Divine Fits and more from this London based podcast.

If There Is Hell Below Podcast... Do A Captain Foam

Rob & Callum present the If There Is Hell Below podcast, it's a bit like a vintage
x-rated version of The Bill. However, instead of 'nicking' people and interrogating 'wroguns' we talk about best places to travel in Middle Earth and listen to psych, library, heavy rock, hip hop, garage rock and indie.
We play stuff from the new Beyond the Wizard's Sleeve 12", a cut from the new Joey Bada$$ mixture, Slug Guts, Frog's soundtrack fuzz, New Pornographers take on Fleetwood Mac and the man they call 'Captain Foam'.

If There Is Hell Below Podcast... Respect The Fly Shit

Welcome to our church, take a pew and heed the words of Father Rob and Brother Callum.
Punk was good, great at points even and we take some time to discuss the current over-celebration and rose-tinted nostalgia of the movement.
Music wise, there’s a gospel-come-disco classic from The Joubert Singers, Cem G’s cosmic dub funk house reworking of Curtis Mayfield, more of the wonderful same from Wild Nothing, the 70s blue eyed soul smoothness of Levek, garage punk from Eagulls and more besides.

If There Is Hell Below Podcast... High on Royalty

The diamond is in place and the intergalactic warlords are readying themselves. Meanwhile, the Rob of the proud and noble Morgan clan teams with Callum of the cowardly, snake-like McClean family for a music podcast.  There is talk again of the celebration of archaic Royal rule and then we talk about HBO’s Game of Thrones .
Music wise: The National lead the way with a song used in the ‘nerdiest show on television’, Young Guv and The Scuzz are the new punk pie for Fucked Up guitarist Ben Cook to put his finger in,  K-Holes provide some sax and fuzz garage punk, Danny Brown features in a new track from House Shoes and Milky Onions provide another freak-pop earworm.
There’s also cosmic jazz, italo-funk soundtrack styling’s from Tensei, Jesse Futerman and a Fela Kuti cover charity track by Tune-Yards, Questlove and friends.
