A Gift, A Christmas Mix. WARNING: MAY CONTAIN CRINGE

I am exhausted and part of the reason for this is that it is my annual 'Being strangely nicer than normal' month. I can't pass a person waving a charity box without smuggly dropping some silver and copper in their dream catcher, and all I ask is a simple "thankyou good sir", I know it's not much but to some I'm giving them the greatest gift of all. I don't know what I'm contributing to but my smug levels soar, 20p to me is the equivellent of an Elton John few grand to Aids charities, although I'm sure he gives millions to the good men fighting to find a cure for Male Pattern Balding.

I have also provided those who want with a Christmas Mix, it's rough around the edges (it was an off the cuff thing) and contains some (depends on your taste i 'spose) questionable choices. But this period is rough around the edges whether it's questionable presents in which you realise your nearest and dearest knows nothing about you and the roughness of the desert dry turkey.

I won't do a tracklisting unless you ask nicely. It's a wrapped gift and the fun is finding out what's inside but you can expect some xmas standards, carols, garage rockers, punk and some pleasures of guilt.

Lo-Fi Cuts

As promised last week.

Crystal Stilts- Crystal Stilts (mediafire)

Gramercy Arms- Looking at the Sun (mediafire) NOTE: dunno if this really is that lo on the fi. I don't really care it's good.

Wavves- No Hope Kids (mediafire)

All In The Good Afternoon (mediafire)

I am also planning a new mix. Depending on how lazy I'm feeling- the fact this is a very minimal blog suggests I'm on the lazy side of things- depends when it's out. But it's going to be designed for when you just want to float off after a heavy weekend, so expect lush strings, harmonies and nice little fleeting
