Rob and Callum have been surfing the net, going through less than 20 play soundcloud clips like your Dad going through your highschool poetry book and feeling a little guilty for snickering at your feels.
We found Waylon Thornton through these means; turns out he’s a vet of the Florida DIY scene and makes some mean garage rock, which we’ll air on this very pod.
Guitar heavy this week with a bit of hip hop in the middle with the first taste of music from the Indie 500 collective with 9th Wonder & Talib Kweli’s first track and Torae’s DJ Premier produced tale of a Saturday night Chinese Takeaway gone wrong. There’s punk from Trampoline Team, DIY powerpop from Lame Drivers and bass as guitar post-punk-pop of Billy Changer plus other ace tunes.
Have a listen, give us a review and like our shit on facebook.

When you’ve finished work, come join Rob and Callum for a Tyskie round the corner outside the 99p store; we’ll shoot the breeze and become an IRL Banksy piece. We’ll let people watch us, charge them 7.5£ for the pleasure.
Whilst that’s all going on, I got my mobile phone blaring 12 ace tunes from the latest ITHB Podcast: kicking off with the knicker balaclava wearing hardcore n roll of Black Panties, the grunge-rock the Shunkan, the garage fuzz beat of Sudakistan  and the ‘go out’ leftfield pop of Surface to Air Missive. Mos Def is Mos Def again and in doing so gets his game back, there’s Ethio jazz funk from Collucutor x The Expansions and a tasty slice from Bodega Bay’s incredible new album.
There’s plenty more in the podcast, take a listen and rate us favourably on iTunes.

Black Panties – Prophet of Hate
Bodega Bay – 16x9
